DAY ONE
Explore Yosemite’s front country on your own. Meet your guide in the early evening at the backpackers campground. Go over gear and itinerary, set up camp, and eat a hot cooked meal.

DAY TWO
Embark through a dense forest. A dazzling canyon drop soon emerges. The intense view draws us onward between the imposing canyon walls. We set up camp on a cliff, and we eat dinner anticipating adventure below.

DAY THREE
Rise to the smell of your guide cooking breakfast, and prepare to descend deeper into the canyon. We meet the powerful Tuolumne River as it courses through the lower reaches. Our tents go up fast, as we have seen a swimming hole, and we want to swim!
8 miles | +500 ft, -1,400 ft

DAY FOUR
Our climb this morning is surprisingly short. We want to have fun! We set up camp early so that we can explore and swim in the cascade that rumbles next to our tents.

DAY FIVE
It’s easy to wake up with three waterfalls on the docket. This canyon grows more enchanting by the day. At Waterwheel Falls, we see the torrent fly up and do a 360! We ascend to camp just above the plunging California falls, and we dip under her deluge.
6 miles | +2,100 ft

DAY SIX
Try to find bears roaming through the flowery meadows of Glen Aulin. After we eat lunch at the monumental Tuolumne Falls, we head out to the trailhead. We return to our lives with an uplifted view and happy memories – as adventurers!
