Adventure Itinerary

DAY ONE
Explore Yosemite’s front country on your own. Meet your guide in the early evening at the backpackers campground. Go over gear and itinerary, set up camp, and eat a hot cooked meal.

DAY TWO
Wake up to coffee and a hot breakfast. A short, steep climb leads us to the remote Sunrise Lakes. Spend the afternoon swimming. Watch the sunset over Half Dome in the distance.

DAY THREE
It is surprising how quickly we reach the summit of Clouds Rest. We explore the infinite details of the vast view before heading down to camp. Half Dome looms over our little tents, daring us to climb her steep granite heights.
8 miles | +1,200 ft, -3,000 ft
DAY FOUR
Those distant, tiny dots are people summiting Half Dome in morning’s glow. Arriving at the cables, we gasp and realize just how intimidating this steep climb will be! We gather our courage and pull our way to the top. We revel in our accomplishment with a celebratory feast!
6 miles, +1,850 ft | -2,700 ft

DAY FOUR
Those distant, tiny dots are people summiting Half Dome in morning’s glow. Arriving at the cables, we gasp and realize just how intimidating this steep climb will be! We gather our courage and pull our way to the top. We revel in our accomplishment with a celebratory feast!

Still filled with elation, we follow the John Muir Trail down into Yosemite Valley. We smile at hikers ascending the path, and we can’t help but marvel at our grand achievement. We say goodbye with the persistent thrill of triumph beating proudly in our hearts.
