DAY TWO
We ascend into a shady canyon with a cold flowing creek. This road has been washed out for over thirty years, so prepare for obstacles! After passing abandoned trucks, foundations of miners’ homes, and even climbing a waterfall we see the smoke stack of the Panamint City mine welcome us to town.

DAY THREE
Eat breakfast at “The Castle,” the swankiest ruin in town! Hike down Main Street, exploring several decrepit cottages, and head into the back hills to discover Thompson Camp. After dinner, the town comes alive, as we take a moonlit stroll and hear historic tales of the red light district and rowdy cowboys!
