Itinerary
Adventure Itinerary

DAY ONE
Explore Yosemite’s front country on your own. Meet your guide in the early evening at the backpackers campground. Go over gear and itinerary, set up camp, and eat a hot cooked meal.

DAY TWO
Ascend through abundant forest before crossing the towering Ten Lakes Pass. Stand proudly at the top and behold an entire valley of glittering lakes! During our lakeside dinner, watch the sunset reflect on the pink water.
6.5 miles | +2,150 ft, -700 ft
DAY THREE
Basecamp in place and explore off-trail. Stumble upon a mysterious lake hidden deep in the woods. Discover a 4,000 foot cliff overlooking Yosemite’s Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne! At camp, we swim, rest, and play games.

3-5 miles | +500 ft

DAY FOUR
Leave basecamp and hike to a serene, unnamed lake before swimming out to her many islands. At twilight, take an off-trail excursion to a secret lake beyond a hill. Contemplating her sunset beauty, we return to our cozy tents.
2-4 miles | +0 ft

DAY FIVE
We accomplish our last short climb back up to Ten Lakes Pass. We look down at the lakes and reflect upon our expedition. Hiking home, we feel fresh and full with the insights we gained on our restorative journey.
6.5 miles | +700 ft, -2,150 ft
